2. Description of Service

LegalMind AI is a software-as-a-service platform designed to assist U.S. immigration law firms with case management, document analysis, and workflow automation. The Service uses artificial intelligence to support — not replace — licensed legal professionals.

The AI-generated content is for informational and workflow assistance purposes only. All legal decisions must be reviewed and approved by a licensed attorney.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by licensed law firms and legal professionals in the United States. By using the Service, you represent that you are a legal professional or acting under the supervision of one.

4. Subscription and Payment

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
• Payment is processed securely through our payment provider.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
• If payment fails, you will have a 3-day grace period before access is suspended. Your data is never deleted for non-payment.

5. Data and Confidentiality

Client data uploaded to the Service is encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not use your client data to train AI models. You retain full ownership of all data you upload.

6. Prohibited Uses

• Using the Service to provide legal advice directly to clients without attorney supervision
• Sharing login credentials between firms
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or extract AI models
• Uploading illegal or fraudulent documents

7. Limitation of Liability

LegalMind AI LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We are not liable for any legal outcomes resulting from the use of our platform. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.

• Payment information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card numbers)

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use client case data to train AI models.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit). Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, your data is retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.

1. Free Trial

All new accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No payment is required during the trial period. You will only be charged if you choose to continue after the trial ends.

2. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time within a billing period.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

• You were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount)
• The Service was unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to our fault
• You request a refund within 7 days of your first paid charge (first-time customers only)

4. Non-Refundable Situations

• Subscriptions cancelled after 7 days of billing
• Accounts terminated for violation of Terms of Service
• Partial months of service

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at billing@legalmind.it.com with your account email and reason for the request. We will respond within 2 business days.

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method.

7. Grace Period for Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we provide a 3-day grace period during which you can update your payment method. Your data is never deleted for non-payment. Access is suspended — not terminated — until payment is resolved.
